Manufactured to the engineer's details
Beams and RSJs
Whether the schedule calls them beams, RSJs or universal beams, we fabricate them to the specified section and length — drilled, notched and plated to the engineer's details, ready for site.
Columns and posts
Universal columns and steel posts, baseplated and capped to the connection details, for openings, corners and load transfers within domestic structures.
Goalpost and box frames
Where large openings and glazed elevations need portal stiffness, we fabricate goalpost and box frames with shop-welded or site-bolted connections as the design requires — trial-checked against the drawings before delivery.
Plates, cleats and connection details
Base plates, padstone plates, cleats, brackets and connection plates, supplied with the steel they belong to so nothing is missing when the package arrives on site.
Fabricated to the structural engineer's details
We work directly from the engineer's drawings, calculations or steel schedule. Dimensions and connection details are checked against the drawings before manufacture, and any queries raised with the engineer rather than improvised in the workshop.
Finishes and preparation
Red oxide primer as standard, or the preparation and finish your specification calls for. Tell us where steel will remain exposed and we'll advise on the right treatment.
Delivery and installation support
Delivered to site across London, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, bundled and sized to suit access. Installation support can be quoted where the project needs it.

Do you take on single-beam jobs?
Yes — from one beam for a builder to a complete package for a large renovation, the process is the same: send the specification and we'll quote.
Can you quote from a steel schedule alone?
Yes, if it includes sections, lengths and connection details. If anything's missing we'll flag it against the drawings rather than guess.
Are frames supplied welded or bolted?
As the design requires — shop-welded where practical for transport and access, or supplied in parts with bolted connections for site assembly.
What finish does the steel come in?
Red oxide primer as standard, or the finish specified for the project. For steel that stays exposed, tell us the situation and we'll advise.
