From drawings to delivered steelwork
What types of residential steelwork do we manufacture?
We manufacture steel beams and RSJs, universal columns, goalpost and box frames, posts, base plates, cleats, brackets and connection plates. We can manufacture these individually or as a complete fabricated package for a project. More on beams and frames.
Working from drawings and steel schedules
Send us your architectural drawings, structural engineer's details, calculations or a steel schedule and we fabricate to them: sections, lengths, drilling, plates and connections as specified. Where details are revised during the job, we'll coordinate the changes with your builder, architect or engineer.
Structural calculations available where required
If the steel isn't yet specified, we can organise structural calculations in support of the fabrication and Building Control process, so the project moves from drawings to approved, manufactured steelwork without a gap between designer and fabricator. More on structural calculations.
Manufacture, finish, supply and delivery
Steelwork is fabricated at our London workshop (Leyton, E10), finished in red oxide primer or as your specification requires, and delivered to site. We can adjust bundle sizes to suit access restrictions if you advise us of this in advance.
Installation support
Most builders take delivery and install, but where the project calls for it, we can quote for installation support alongside the supply of your metalwork.
How the quoting process works
Send us your drawings or steel schedule with the site's full address and postcode. We'll then be able to provide an itemised quote covering fabrication, finish and delivery and installation support if required, confirming lead times against your build programme.

Frequently asked questions
Can you fabricate directly from our engineer's drawings?
Yes — that's the most common way we work. Send the drawings or steel schedule and we'll quote for fabrication and supply to that exact specification.
Do you work with builders and architects as well as homeowners?
Yes. Much of our residential steel goes to builders and project managers, and we're used to coordinating details, revisions and delivery dates directly with the professional team on the project.
The steel isn't fully specified yet — can you still quote?
Send what you have. From architectural drawings we can usually price provisionally, and where calculations are still required we can organise them so the specification is confirmed before fabrication.
Do you deliver to site?
Yes — across London, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, with steel bundled and sized to suit access. Installation support can be quoted where the project needs it.
